hi im replacing rubbers on rail above window rail, if using new rubber do i need to use mastic sealent(grey one on roll) or whats the best thing to use if anything

If you mean you are removing & resealing awning rail on an older caravan then the Sikaflex which dries solid & is permanent would probably be better but you will only be doing the job once. I'm not sure what you mean by replacing rubbers. If you mean the trim strip that covers screws in awning rail then it just pushes in, no sealant required.
