wish i had thought of this before just before christmas the wife decided to buy a new 3 piece suite ,but purchased it online ,the pics looked marvellous ,nice black leather etc .but as soon as it turned up i took a instant dislike to it and it was a bit small for me (and her ) as well . i suffered it for a few weeks but said sod it a few weeks ago and dragged her down to d.f.s and ordered a new one grrrr .
not having any excess storage area we decided to sell the other one and put it on e/bay it sold in a couple of days and has now been collected by the new owner .
our new one is still a few weeks away so we are left with no seating ,the caravan leisure chairs are o.k for a while but not for all evening ,EUREKA had a brainstorm .i got the seats in from the caravan stacked them on top of one another 3 deep .oh wow what a comfortable settee they make .might cancel the new one and keep this (only joking ) but it works
Mine are at present stacked against the back wall of my lounge (with a small gap for ventilation) and currently providing extra insulation for a very cold front room!

Would never buy another sofa from DFS, worst thing we ever did. Took out a warranty thinking it was covered, then when the frame collapsed at 13 months old we called them thinking the £300 extra warranty would cover us - guess what, did not cover the frame pffft
------------- As a child my families menu consisted of two choices: take it or leave it.
As an alternative we will be staying in the caravan for around a day and a half in about a weeks time.
Fortunately we have the caravan at home.
There is some repair work being done to the electricity supply in our area and they have advised that worse case we could be without power for a day and a half.
This means we will have no heating or light, so feel we will be better of in the caravan using gas for heating, cooking and battery power for 12v lighting as we often do on some trips anyway.

It is a fool who has to say something.
I bought a sofa from another 3 letter name furniture company. It wouldn't fit through the front door. I removed the front door, the lobby door and the lounge door. It still wouldn't fit, every dimension was bigger than the doorways. The response from the company "tough, there's nothing we can do you should have measured it before you bought it. Get a builder to remove the lounge window frame."
I ended up sending it back and losing the full amount (I had paid in full up front)
