I have just taken delivery of my first van - a 1988 swift corniche. I was aware of a small patch of damp which has currently been stripped out and is drying out before repair.
The van was advertised as having a TV ariel and in the front locker we have found the ariel part that sticks out, and a pole which attaches into a bracket on the tow bar. But we cannot work out how to connect the two together! Are we missing a bracket of some sort? The ariel part is a large silver metal one (not the smaller ones I have seen on googling) with a black connecter box to attach the cable to.
Also, I am fairly competent at electrics and having read up am confident I can extend the 240v circuit to add a plug socket in and also the 12v circuit to add some lights for the kids... however I cannot find any information about how or where to route the cable. Do I just run it at ceiling height through plastic conduit? It needs to go either past the door or past the bathroom so no lockers to hide it in :-(
