Having been given the news that our current caravan has damp problems and us about to set off on a summer+ of touring down the East side of the country we have decided to bite the bullet and buy a new caravan.
The one we are favouring is the 2014 Lunar Ultima 560 (based on the Lexon) which we can buy brand new at the moment for £18,499 from Robinsons Worksop, but also on the shortlist is the Bailey Unicorn 2 Vigo which is around £21,000. Both of these have been picked because we like the design and because we tow with a 2008 Mondeo, the Lunar would be 92% kerb and the bailey 95% but other than that the Caravan Club match says everything is fine.
Our current model is a Lunar Ultima 2002 EB and we have been satisfied with it. Just a little worried about wear and tear as we will be living in the van for at least 6 months and possibly over the winter if we enjoy the summer.
Does anyone have any thoughts on either models please. Its a lot of money and a big commitment to buy a rogue van so anything would be appreciated.
TIA
