Does anyone own one? I'm trying to work out why they are they so hard to find second hand - did no-one buy them in the first place or are they so good that the owners hang on to them with loving determination .., they've been around for three or four years now, so I would have expected to see a few more coming through ...?

Hi we have the elddis odyssey 544, great van for us had from new in 2008.
were going to keep ours seems we would only be changing it to get a different colour seating area, and a few more lights.
its been a great van, have seen some 2nd hand ones about keep looking its worth it.

Zara - the 544 you have also looks a nice van, but I do like the combination of bunkbeds and space available with the 554. It looks as though Elddis no longer make it - that's really disappointing!

Ooh, where are you finding them on eBay? I can see quite a few Elddises, but no 554s (the 4 berth ones with the bunkbeds and the end side bathroom). The nearest I can find is in Swindon and a rather expensive one in Fife.

I wonder why no-one bought them?
