Hi fellow campers,

Whilst currently away in our Elddis Wisp 400/4, the wife and I have decided we could do with a bigger caravan and I think the kids would too.

For those who remember me I did a rebuild thread on this old girl last year and tendered to a lot of damp etc.

Where would we place our 'van in terms of value? Also, as it's a 1994 'van (and everything works) would a service before the sale generate more interest? What is the cost of a service (local to York area)?

I still have a small area of floor delamination to tend to and that will be repaired end of March.

This is a lovely little tin can that tows well and will be missed greatly, but we need longer caravan.

I wouldn't bother to service it before selling, its not going to increase the value above cost of service. Just put it on an ebay auction, you should get a good price this time of year.

When we were looking to buy we would only look at ones which had a recent service but thats because we knew nothing about caravans.
