Hi my wife an I will be going on our first trip of the season this weekend. This is our second season so im still learning the basics .My question is how do I fill the water heater I've lost my handbook.

Just make sure the valve on the tank is closed and it should fill up when you connect the water.

If you go to the Bailey web site you should be able to download the manual or at least get all the info you require.
When you first switch on the water to the van the water heater will take 10 ltr to fill then about 20 minutes to heat up.

Make sure the drain tap is closed. Connect the water & pump. Close all taps except the hot tap in the kitchen. It will gurgle and spit for ages but eventually water will start flowing from the hot tap.

When that happens close the hot tap and open the other taps one by one till water flows smoothly then close.

As nawer states, but also, don't turn the heater on until water is running out of the hot taps, (once all the air and hissing has stopped), then you know all the air is out of the tank/system, and it's safe to turn on the water heater without damaging it.
