I have been looking at 260 porch awnings, How long do they normally last? some materials are thinner, but have a higher hydrostatic head? was looking to spend 100-150 pounds.

Mine cost £150 and lasted 5 years. Finally gave up trying to take it down in high wind. Brilliant space though, 8ft x 8ft, perfect for 2. Left the van windows clear.
Our Kampa Rally 260 is now in its 5th season and still as good as new, a lot depends on the quality of the awning you buy and how its looked after, we always make sure ours is clean and dry before packing away, even if this means taking it down a day or so early whilst the weather is fine on occasions.

Hi
We have the sunncamp ultima 260 porch awning in blue, we got it second hand with the van last year! It's quite big but really easy to put up! For the new season I've purchased sunncamp ultima 180 porch awning in red, we find this model ideal for a few nights away, just giving us enough space to take coats and boots off before going into van! Both awnings have an HH of 5000, smaller one is more up to date with cushioned pads running down the sides to stop wind rattling thro!
Sunncamp are defiantly worth a look!
