Hi all
The site we have our caravan sited at have this year had wifi installed & the company providing the service is Camping Connect. Has anyone used a site with this service & could you advise what their usage fees are like? I have asked the site owner & he was not sure what they were likely to be as of yet.
Prices could vary from campsite to campsite. When on site just open your browser and it will take you to the time purchase page. I am surprised the owner does not know!

With mobiles able to be used as hot spots do you need to use a chargeable service?
You could buy a pay as you go dongal, or the all you can eat data hot spot types.

We use a Three mifi device which is perfect, costs us about £30 for data a year, but we connect both our tablets to it etc when we are away. Never let us down. We did try camping connect a couple of times but found it expensive and not very quick, maybe it was the sites installation and not camping connect in general but we prefer our own now. Also as donnod says, most smart phones can be used as hotspots too and with data sims so cheap these days, a good option imho.
Any campsites charging by the hour,or by day will loose customers.
Sites offering free wi fi will gain these lost customers.
If your a site owner and you are charging for wi fi you wont see me this year.
