Hi Guys, been caravanning for a few seasons now and always used a porch awning. This has come to the end of its life and we are ready for something new. I am looking at either a second had pyramid Corsican full awing or a new Kampa Rally Pro porch awning.
Need some advice, can't seem to find much on the pyramid awnings online but what I do read is ok.
We've had a Rally Pro 260 for 2 years and it's been brilliant. It's heavier than the standard Rally so it's a touch harder to haul through the awning rail but then it's got adjustable legs that cope very well with uneven pitches. We've got the rear poles, monsoon poles, storm straps and the best bit of all...the hanging rail. This was the only porch type awning we could find with a way of hanging up wet coats etc. So far our awning has held up to huge rain storms and gale force winds without any problems and I would buy another one if this got stolen or damaged. I have also found customer service from Kampa to be excellent when I had a minor problem.
Hope this helps.
Rob

We had the pyramid corsican awful awful awning leaked like a sieve awful to put up dreadful . We have a dorema now and its good but we have a ventura porch awning and its easier than the Kampa Rally that we had to put up so our next full awning will be a ventura
