Test driven the freelander yesterday , loved the car ,but not the dealer ,very rude and how many people does it take to do a sale, I had three gang up on me very pressured environment. Didn't even get to a deal on paper as the PX offer was derogatory, and all they wanted to know was 'have we a deal' bearing in mind the PX was a thousand less than other places, not a snow ball in hells chance.
It didnt start well when they told me that I didnt have appointment and the sales bloke wasn't in , day off, the fact that I'd phoned Monday and made the appointment, then Thursday to confirm it, but the sales chap was not at his desk, he would ge back me , he didnt, I then phoned Friday to be told it was his day off .I will phone the sales manager Monday morning. Just to add insult to injury the car they were offering me wasn't the one I test drove, it was some where else, but I could have secured it for a conditional deposit of 1000 pounds!!! What's that all about. I just couldn't get through to the loud idiot with the lap top that the deal was dependent on the PX offer... prat
