Added new lighting, a coupke of extra power points, dyed the curtains ( from hideous pink ) re-newed some of the out side stripes and graphics. Nothing too major, but made van feel more like my own.

I hung the wardrobe door the opposite way around to improve accessibility.

Swapped the socket and the spur for the heater around

Moved the spur for the water heater and the gas control for the water heater next to the electrical control on the bed box the vacated spaces now house extra sockets

Replaced the halogen lamps with LEDs

Replaced the plastic table rail with tubular steel. I also fitted another rail beside the kitchen sink, the small table can now be fitted to extent the kitchen workspace

I fitted a remote control dimmer to the ceiling lights

I have just fitted 3 USB phone/tablet charging sockets. Two by the front chest of draws and one by the middle dinette/bunks. I want to fit a curtain track to screen off the front as the kids have outgrown the side bunks.

I’ve made a few changes to my Swift Conqueror.
I've fitted an electric heater in the shower room.
Fitted a motion sensor controlled light in the shower room.
.I've altered the blown air heating to send more heat to the shower room, I do like a worm room to shower in.
Two extra lights, one above the cooker and one above the bed.
An extra double 240v socket near the entrance door
A wine rack in one cupboard   A safe fixed under a seat. I've altered the motor mover switch so it can be reached from outside the 'van at the tow bar. I've added a shelf in a cupboard to fit my coffee maker.
That is just the start, more changes will follow.

We camped for years. In 2019 we bought an Elddis Avante 454. We like it as it is short (6.9m) and fits in our driveway and has a fixed bed.
We had 127 nights away in the caravan in 2023.

We got our 1997 Ranger at the end of the summer and up until now it has all been repair work, but I have now just started on my modifications.
I am extending the width of the dinette bed. I have removed the top bunk completely and am building a 6" side extension that will stow away where the top bunk was stowed during the day. At night, between the extension and the space where the bunk was stowed, that will make the bed 9" wider.
As there is just the two of us, that gives us two comfortable single beds.

We also renewed some of the outside decals.
You will get what you want
here

As for other mods, well there will be some, but we want to use it first before we decide what is needed and where.

Lobey.

fitted a large mirror for the lady of the house in the bathroom on the rear wall. makes bathroom look larger too fitted the best bathroom, fittings. a three inch shelf carefully made to fit over the mirror. holds all the sprays and after shaves. a runner carpet full length of the caravan improves movement, fixed with tiny brass screws.
