Best time to do it is when the weather is cooler , this will give you more time to use what you have mixed (that's if you have brought the two part kit).
Did mine last year around this time, when the temperature was just in double figures .
And one last tip I put masking tape over all the holes so when you inject the resin the over spill can be cleaned of easily once dry .

did mine last year £27.00 for resin and £10.00 for carpet and a tray of lager £15.00 not bad price (but had bad head of the lager)

You would only be using it as a support till the floor hardened.They are separate you would be filling the void with the hardener.
