Any ideas how to remove they yellowing
from a plastic motor home sink we would be very grateful for your top tips

I would rub the sink down with a very fine wet and dry sand paper then mask what u dont want paint on.The paint id use is Plastikote which comes in a variety of colours as well as for certain jobs.

B&Q sell it and it makes a good job but be careful when spraying as it does not harden straight away and will run if not put on in thin coats.

You could paint a plastic sink with Plasticote but it would probably end up looking worse than just left yellow, some paint can react with plastic & melt it. It depends if the yellow is on the surface or the plastic has chemically reacted with light & its all the way through. You could try rubbing a small section with Tcut to see if it comes white & if so then Tcut the whole thing then polish back to a shine..

It does not matter the picture was an EXAMPLE of what they make.You can buy it suitable for plastics as well it has 100s of uses .

I disagree with you as a few on here has reported back on what an excellent job its done.

It will not MELT anything as long as you chose the right stuff for the right job.

Tbf, painting a discoloured sink falls into the 'life's too short' catergory, if it won't polish out, I'd leave it as is.

I have used PlastiKote on sinks and other things, Spray a very light coat and leave for 10 mins, then a second light coat, slowly building up to the finish you want.

Try soaking it with a 2 dishwasher tablets disolved in boiling water. Failing that, try good old bleach,

I did use bleach on it a couple of days ago it did improve the bathroom one quite well but greatly improved the kitchen one...we intend to leave well alone now def not worth shelling out for new ones thank you all for your replies

If you still have not solved your problem I suggest trying some stuff called   Crystal Glo
I told a lady on here about it for removing fence paint off her caravan,    she tried it and is well happy with the results, there are two sorts just google and try the one that removes yellowing I am sure you will be pleased with the results.
