If it is a bulkhead regulator, like the photo, then you need a propane pigtail, as said above left hand thread etc., if not a propane regulator and for the BBQ a propane regulator. Why get calor lite? at about £25.00 'ish a refill when you can get a Safefill refillable cylinder which holds 8.6kg/15ltrs of auto gas (propane) for about £13.00 a fill and then just top as needed and always go off with a full cylinder. They are safe and do stop filling at 80% full with other safety fetures built in.
