Can anyone help me, I have purchased a new thetford N3112 fridge to replace my old broken n112 fridge. The new fridge has no wiring diagram with it. The 240 v is self explanatory but the 12v dc side now has 5 cables in the connector block which are a thick red cable /thick white cable / thin black /thin orange and a thin purple compared to the old connector which has a thick red yellow cable /thick white black cable a thin orange white cable and a thin yellow green cable. Does anyone have a diagram showing what connects where?thanks Mark

Are the manuals on the Thetford support website shown here of any help?
Failing that, I have always found Thetford support excellent; drop 'em a line or give them a call.
Contact Thetford.

Thanks For this Paul I have looked on the website clicking on the relevant for the new N3112 and there is no reference anywhere to a wiring diagram. It is only a user manual not an installation manual.
I am wondering if Thetford or Swift caravans supply a connecting loom which converts the old to new, I will try ringing Thetford on Monday
Cheers Mark

Hi Mandy,

What was the outcome with the wiring?
I ask this because I have just done the same, Purchased a replacement N3112 For a N112.

Does it need to be connected to the 12volt supply to run the control panel?

The connector behind my Dometic fridge has two black cables going to the fridge, one with black and purple wires, one with red and white wires. So very similar to the Thetford original post but without the orange. The input to the connector (Swift wiring) has red/yellow to red, brown/yellow to purple, white/black to white and white/orange to black.

Anyone know which pair of colours are the power from the car when the ignition is on? I want to splice this pair to add a wireless rear view camera (only 200mA) so it comes on with the car ignition.
