Bailey monarch 2003 fitted with dual electric/ gas truma water heater. Fired it up today after winter in an inside store. Filled up , bled off air locks...waited, waited , then ran some hot water. Got about 1 litre red hot water, then Luke warm to cold very quickly.

Any ideas ??

The manual I have states heating time up to 70c (approx)gas = 34 Mins electric 45 Mins Gas and electric 25 mins. Basically your wait time was it long enough ?

yes at least 20 minutes.there is no reason why you cannot use both electric and gas at the same time then just turn one off.always had ours on electric because we had paid for the privilege.after saying that you don't get a lot of hot water with your shower because as you use it cold water is following on behind the hot and cooling it down.
