We have a Freedom Jetstream and would like to get a groundsheet for the awning. Does anyone know what size we need?

The groundsheet we want is either the Fiamma Patio Mat or the Kampa Continental Cushioned Awning Carpet.
Does anyone have any first hand experience of either of these products - we'd like to hear your thoughts.

Thanks in advance for your help.

It depends on the size of the awning, can you check the size on the manufacturers website? We never manage to get the exact size groundsheet we need for our awnings and always end up either a bit too short somewhere or with a bit tucked underneath because it's too big.

We bought a breathable one off ebay last year. I misjudged the size. I got 2.5x2.5m. It wasn't quite wide enough. I think would of been better with a 3.ox3.0. We too have a freedom, but a sunseeker. Think they are about the same size!

They generally come in set sizes, so measure width of caravan & get one at least that, you either fold in edges or cut it to size.

Thanks for the suggestion regarding the website manufacturers website Rob. I'll try that - 'coz I really want the groundsheet to fit.
I had measured it last time we used the caravan as being 2.5m x 3m if it was a ready made one and 2.5m x 3.25m if we bought it off a roll. Now that I've seen these cushioned ones, they come in 3m, 3.30m and 3.40m

Feretlady, the Jetstream and the Sunseeker are the same body, I believe - just fitted out differently.

Thanks for your help, everybody.
I might have limited the number of people who'd read the post by titling it "Freedom Jetstream groundsheet" and would like to know feelings on the 2 product choices that I have so will put up another post asking for feedback on them.

Will have to measure ours. Not buying another groundsheet to make the same mistake again! Lol

A width of 2.5m is fine, Ferretlady - it's just the length that's the issue (especially as I want it to fit nicely!)

Ferretlady, did you ever measure the footprint of your awning? If you did, I'd be really interested to hear what it was, please.
Thanks
Tanya

Smartrascal, sorry no I haven't yet. We were away with it a couple of weeks ago, and blinking forgot. Unless a miracle happens, our next venture will be first week in June. Don't know if thats too long for you!

We're away in June as well but if you could measure yours too, that'll be great.
Enjoy your time away, Ferretlady.
