The key is to take your time and only unpeal it as your going, not rip the back of then try and stop it from sticking to itself

don't try and cut it to exact size, instead give yourself a little extra and cut the overhang with a craft knife, these are more like surgeons scalpels rather than a stanley knife.

As i move along I use a sofy microfibre cloth and a really do take my time,

If you spray a mist of water onto the surface first, this will allow the vinyl to move and shrink back to size before final trimming. It  is also easy to peel back if needed and to press out air bubbles. When water drys it will stick as it should.
