guys
is it possible to fit a stereo and a couple of speakers into a caravan is it a big job and can a normal car stereo be fitted or does it have to be a special caravan one. how do you get an ariel to it
cheers
steve
Car one is what you need. Some status aerials work with fm, not sure about am. It needs to be fused and connected to the 12v side of the vans electrical supply. Or as an alternative you can buy a mains operated radio or cd or mp3 dock and just plug it in. Loads less work and can be used on an extension lead in awning or outside in dry weather.
------------- Why am i doing this instead of camping??!!

A bit of a rough guide here too. Obviously all installations are varied depending on the layout of your caravan, but with some careful planning, it's an easy enough job to do.
The Status TV aerial can be used, but personally I favour a dedicated aerial as seen in the link, as in my case it would have been to awkward running another cable from the Status amp to radio position.
