One would hope the charge is to discourage multi windbreak pitch abuse....Those who wish build walls around themselves can pay handsomely for the priviledge, no man is an island, certainly not on a campsite & definitely not in a gale when the poxy things flap around & blow away.
Ours keeps the dogs contained, doesn't flap in the wind and definitely will not blow away even in gale force winds.
As well is two words!
How does a sage know everything about everything? or does he? or does he just think he does?
Remember, if you buy something you bought it, not brought it.

Ditto iank01.
I bought mine from leisure windbreaks. Paid more than for the awning, but well worth it for peace of mind. I am a new solo caravanner and need to make sure that my dogs don't cause a nuisance to anyone.

We use them sometimes, usually to stop the ignorant t*ssers using our pitch as a short cut and saving themselves four extra steps.

a wonderful idea!! Only the Brits have them.
I don't think that's true at all. Johnny foreigner tends to use beach umbrellas and beach tents more but certainly beach windbreaks can be found abroad.
It's not just the Brits that have discovered this brilliant invention.

If I pay the pitch fee I will choose how many windbreaks I erect. They do not flap around any more than tents & awnings. I have seen tents and awnings blowing across sites. Never windbreaks.
If you don't like my windbreak array I don't care.
