Hello

I am sure there is an obvious answer to this but it has me stumped.

Have erected our Apache Kensington awning for the first time but it does not reach the floor.

What have I done wrong?

Presumably its the wrong size for the caravan? Are you on level ground? Unlevel ground can sometimes it difficult to get it neatly erected.

You need to measure from the ground around awning channel and down to the ground again and then you need a size awning that covers this length.If you go slightly larger you can always peg the sides out, but smaller you are stuck.

I am just wondering if your van is a swift.We had an 1997 swift jura and its height was the same as the new vans.Some of the older vans i found out were higher than some of that day.

Just a thought....
Is it the skirt that doesn't reach the ground or just the canvas. If it's just the canvas, it could be O.K. and no reason to worry.
