We had a bailey Pageant Vendee 2006. We had it for 3 years and spent the best part of 2k on damp issues. We sold it only a couple of months ago and lost another 1k on top of what we had expected. We were told at that point that the 2006 models are renowned for damp. Not sure what age yours is but just wanted you to be aware

Hi Shortie
Look out for cracks round the awning rail. They're really fine, about an inch in length. Ours had about 6 of them, front and back. It's quite common apparently.
We loved the layout, it suited us perfectly bit our Vendee was a soppy mess. Certainly insist on a damp report (if nothing else)

Yes we had one (Bailey Pageant Bretagne Series 6), bought new in 2006 and we were very pleased with it. Serviced regularly and checked for damp at each service with no issues. Changed it about two and a half years ago for a Pegasus Milan, only because the 6 berth was no longer practical for our needs. Friends of ours also had one with no problems.
any caravan with a plastic front or rear panel can suffer with stress cracks look closely at the plastic panel look for VERY fine crack emerging from under the awning rails & the joining strip across the roof these can be from 1cm to several cm in length any sign of a crack walk away as repairs to the panel can cost £800 plus,& buy yourself a damp meter & learn to use it.THEN when you have found a van YOU are happy with, get a mobil mechanic to check it before you buy. Damp repairs can cost many many hundreds to repair
