Well tonight is our final night in our tourer after 3 great years on a seasonal pitch we have decided to purchase a static on a different site and collect the keys tomorrow.

I just wanted to say a massive thank you to all of your who have given advice and contribute to this forum, i can honestly say as a novice 3 years ago i dont think i could have managed with this site and the sharing of experience.

I will still be visiting the forume seeing what everyone is upto!!

It is sad but you have your new static to enjoy. It's good to have a change. We have a seasonal pitch too as we can't tow as OH as a company car and they won't let him have towbar fitted. We love our site though and it's nice to be able to set up in less than 10 minutes. Hope you enjoy your new site too.

Something we have thought about being honest, but it's the annual fees that put us off. But for sure when we can afford it(if ever) the tourer days will be numbered.

I would love a static but it's the amount of sites that have an age limit that gets me. You can have an old van that is immaculate but still have to sell to greedy site owners and buy another through them. This happened to a friend of mine and they just couldn't afford to buy at the time so had to give up altogether. For the time being I'll stick to my tourer on a seasonal.

If you can,think about hanging on to the tourer and storing it for a short while,you never know,you may want to tour sometime in the future
