We have just purchased our Abbey Vogue & apparently the internal battery charger does not work, so they were using a car battery charger, which , on our first outing, turned out to be knackered & wires held in place by sellotape.
Caravan service guy lived on site, identified the issue, so we bought a RAC car battery charger, he wired it in safely & securely, & hey presto...things worked on the van that were not doing before!
No help to you I appreciate, but thought I'd pass on the info.
