Hi - My caravan is fitted with "Small Van"" tyres and the tyre pressures given on the actual tyres are 65 psi.
This seems a bit high for a caravan.
Would you go with these pressures or the ones mentioned in the manual?
I don't quite understand what you mean by 'small van tyres'. The tyres sizes should be the same as what are stated in the manual and if not then the advice is to adhere to the manual. If you look at the tyre wall the 65 psi will be the maximum pressure and not the recommended pressure. My caravan handbook states the tyre sizes with 50 psi but the tyre wall actually states 55 psi. MAX.
Unless the Op posts the absolute full spec of the tyre in question (size, load index etc) and weight info for the van, then it can't be guessed what the pressure should be at all.
you need to know the recommended pressure and not just guess van tyres are not care tyres and they run at much higher pressures mine are 50psi and my daughter's 65psi don't guess whatever you do
