Hi all.
We took the plunge and got a caravan again, 4 berth side dinette.
In the old days when we took 3 kids with we had a full canvas awning with bedroom annexe - I hated it but needed the space.
Then we downsized to one child and happily toured with a beautiful porch awning, still canvas but lightweight poles (cant remember the make).
Now daughter is a teenager and we foresee weekends with her friend going with us.
So looking for a lightweight large porch awning - would it be OK for them to have a pup tent inside the awning?
Awnings seem to have changed since I last looked - lightweight nylon materials etc?
What would you recommend?
Got to be easy to pitch and take down, not heavy, we're not getting any younger

We have a lightweight awning. Yes can use a pup tent in it also a cotton sleeping pod

We use an inner tent for our 2 granddaughters to sleep in. They love it (teenagers)
