I bought a 390 awning last year but didn't like it. It felt quite claustrophobic and it spoilt the view from the lounge window so I am now thinking of getting a smaller one just to put wet shoes, coats etc in. Can anyone recommend one that is suitable for a seasonal pitch that can be very windy at times.
We have a apache Windsor and to be honest it's up there with any top of the range awning, one on eBay and the chap will accept £170,have a look on Google images, and I will post a link if I can.
The materials used are excellent and the awning is solid
Hi Kev,if the sites very windy at times an Isabella minor awning or Snowboy would be a strong awning to consider.
We use an Isabella Magnum a bigger version if on site for more than a week or a full awning for long stays.
A towsure Portico is quick and easy to whip up and down if very high winds forecast.
I agree with snowflower, the Bradcot if bought new will not be guaranteed as a seasonal porch, only a touring porch as the materials are different. If second hand then it's not as much of a problem but, just remember it's not meant for permanent site use.
Any by Isabella, ventura inaca, apache and a couple of others will be suitable as they use better materials, stronger poles, canopy poles ect. The quest snowdon looks a good one!
