Off to normans bay nr Eastbourne Saturday, towing caravan from the north on M25. Anyone know if its better to exit M25 at jct 7 and take M23 + A27 or exit at jct 6 to go via A22 + A275. All advice gratefully received.

Think when we went we went anticlockwise got off at junction 7 ... the traffic for the airport junctions slowed us down, someone at the site who lived in London did recommend the a22 on the way back, but we stuck to our original route, Normans bay is a great site we had glorious sunshine, but be warned if the wind gets up you may want to take awnings etc down. enjoy

Depends where you start!
If you're coming round the M25 from the west side M4, M40, or M1 then use the M23/A23/A27.
If you're coming from the M11 then M25 Dartford Crossing, then use the A21 at Jct 5, then the A26 through Tunbridge Wells and Crowborough to the A22 round Uckfield and down.
Either way, the A22 between the M25 and Uckfield isn't better, and the A21 from John's Cross is either a fight through Hastings and Bexhill or little narrow backroads to go round.
