Hi. We have the Rally Pro Air 260 which is the heavy duty material one and we do have a few issues. Will keep you informed

Our Kampa Rally 390 suffers from condensation much more so than our old Fiesta did. We had a very wet start of week last week in France and ground was drenched, and each morning when sun did come out we had bad condensation inside.
For someone new to these awnings I could see very much how it would look like its been leaking.

I would also add you do need the monsoon poles

Its the only thing I don't like about it to be honest. I love the ease of putting up and down and adjustable front legs, and the head room at the front of awning compared to other similar styles

The Fiesta had in built front high level vents that could be left open. The Rally has none unless you leave the end doors open alightly

Hi. Just been in touch with the dealer who in turn contacted Kampa regarding my leak issues they say with the nature of the new Pro material ( Heavier ) that the awning needs to be weathered i.e a good downpour then left to dry in the sun ( if we ever get any ) and that should resolve the problem and it has been logged with both companies so that if I have anymore problems then I can go back to them. The lighter material Rally awning is like any other nylon type tent or awning they are prone to condensation as I have witnessed in my own experience.

Yes we went for the 520 Pro as it is big and plenty of headroom, and ease of putting up - it's so quick. The Pro range is supposedly better quality as it has thicker material.

We had an old Coleman awning before and never got condensation issues like we do in this Pro 520.

One question - do other Kampa Tent owners have the same issues with condensation?

Hi. We have had condensation with Outwell tents. Outdoor Revolution awnings so its not unique to Kampa tents and awnings. I think it is just the nature of the material but that is only my opinion

So, here we are at the end of July in so e of nicest weather we have had in a long, long time. So dry in fact the ground is rock hard. So today we had our first rain shower and guess what? Yep. Water ingress. Water drips on everything in our awning.

So no condensation, no damp ground and no heating on.

So now I assume that either I have a faulty awning or something that is just not up to the job. Can any other Kampa users confirm they are having any issues before it give kampa a piece of my mind?

Awww I'm sorry to hear that.

Contact them again, with more photos and explain that it isn't condensation this time, and why. Ask for a full refund.
