I have in the past tried a pneumatic tyre but could not keep a good seal on the rim like a car tyre, then a tube, then a self sealant. I finally reverted to the solid wheel, I fitted phospur bronze bushes in the jockey wheel smeared with a marine grease + ensuring my van tyres were the correct PSI. I have not had any problems moving either by hand or mover on all types of terrain including pea pebble. I found if the clearence between pin and jockey wheel is too big its more difficult to push. The greater the wear the greater the resistance as the wheel has to move over to take up the slack before rotating and this on going at each revolution. The sooner they invent the hovercraft caravan the better for one and all just think a van floating behind your tow car, hover on to pitchplug in EhU fetch water fix waste of to the pub Cheers??
