Hi,

I have bought a 1998 Hobby 650 caravan, I want to put a gas oven and grill in it as there is no cooker, Would any one know were i can get one at a good price the space i have is 18 inches wide. Second hand would be great. Any ideas on caravan breaker who might have what i am looking for.

Best emailing/phoning the caravan breakers near where you live for the parts. Then you will need someone qualified to gas it in for you.

Don't you have a top ring cooker? If you have gas rings for pans, then you could always get a little electric mini oven from Aldi or Argos, that's if you always use EHU.

We used an electric frying pan when we only had the rings. It doubled as a mini oven. I baked cakes and bread in it, oven baked chips, roasted chicken, could fry a breakfast and also cook casseroles etc. Best bit was you could take it to the washing area and dump it in hot soapy water, no messy oven to clean. Great for home too!

Getting hold of a caravan oven and grill shouldn't be that difficult providing you're not looking for a specific brand.

This was back in the late 1980's early 90's. We never had any problem with tripping the electricity. I used it more recently in the tent and again no issue with EHU.

I think the OP is looking for a gas oven and grill, not an alternative electrical appliance.
