can anyone help with we have a coachman amara caravan and have bought a alco wheel lock to fit trying to fit it  there appears to already be a bolt in the receiver  it has been in from new  the van is 2008  has anyone come across this  and does any one know how to remove the bolt and where    we get the tool if needed

ALKO originally fitted a plug in the thread, and when you registered the lock with them they supplied a tool to remove it.This was done to try and stop people using different makes of lock in them .They have now given up and all new ones just have a yellow plastic plug screwed in, which you then replace after use to keep muck out of the threads.

They started leaving the seal out 2009.

I had same with my last 'van a Lunar,Alko sent me the required tool when I rang to register my lock,I still have 2 of these tools as Alko sent me two for some reason,if you have no joy I can send you one .
Assume you have the correct orange Lozenge,I have a number 8 spare if anyone reading this wants to buy one.
