Just got back from taking our new Rally Air "Pro" out for its first spin and thought it might be useful to give anyone who may be interested an idea of how it performed. We were lucky to get one of these a few weeks ago as stock seems to be taking forever to come through.
I have to say that overall, the awning is fantastic. The heavier weight "Pro" material is very strong, and because of this, it can be a bit "heavy" if you are trying to run it up the awning channel on your own (plus the air poles are built into the fabric, adding to the weight). Definitely a bit of a workout compared to my older porch awning which was more like lightweight tent material. But, once you have got it up the awning channel, my goodness, it is a breeze! The awning pumped up in a couple of minutes and I didn't have to top it up at all. It was still rock solid after 6 days of varying hot and cold conditions. I did not experience any leaks or condensation during my stay.
The awning has built in curtains, the side ones roll up and into toggle type fasteners. The front curtains roll downwards and are stored in a pocket at the bottom of the window. The veranda option is a huge bonus, as you are able to open just the tops of the front doors to allow lots of air through. The two side doors have insect mesh if required.
The awning skirt is excellent as it comes with adjustable straps that peg into the ground and guy lines to pull the awning skirt nice and tight.
I was concerned that this awning might not be tall enough for my caravan, as this has been a problem in the past (my van is at the top of the awning's height range), but I needn't have worried. The height was perfect with a little room in the pegging ladders to allow for any slopes.
I had the awning up in about 15 minutes, pegged out and ready to go. I imagine that next time will be a lot quicker now I know what to do.
Deflation was extremely quick and what little air is left inside the poles escapes easily as you roll the awning up. It also fitted back into the bag with room to spare.
I am delighted with the awning and would highly recommend it, but I would say that it is worth considering the weight if you plan to put this up alone, particularly one of the larger models (mine is the smallest - the 260).
Hope that helps anyone thinking about purchasing one.

we used our Rally Pro for the first time last w/end (July 2014)and have to say it's not as easy as people may think is.
Firstly ours is the heavier material, so fitting into the caravan awning rail was a task. you have to manoeuvre the whole rather heavy awning upwards and across into the awning rail. in windy conditions this is a major task. Pumping up the 'air poles' is not that easy.
Then you find if the ground is uneven, the poles seem to bend, and in windy conditions this is more apparent.
Once up, pegging down is no easier than a normal awning, but rear upright poles, and storm straps are a must to combat poor sealing, and bending air poles, in windy conditions. Unfortunately these are accessories that have to be purchased. All those bright yellow straps needed to stabilise your fancy awning are well seen for miles around.
Lastly, heavy condensation, with water dripping onto our awning seats was frustrating. Those small top corner vents seem to have no effect whatever. Water reservoirs formed on to square section roof panel, easily removed by pushing upwards from the caravan step, and watch water cascade down the window panels.
Very disappointed obviously, and seriously considering part-ex this almost new awning for a conventional awning. Anyone interested? but you have been warned.
