Hi all im new to the site and just got a second hand towbar with twin electrics sov when its all fited we can look at geting a van
Fitting the towbar is not a prob its the electrics im stuck on has anyone fitted a double electrics to a xsara picasso on a 05 plate that could shed sum light on it would b greatfull

Did you get a wiring diagram with the towbar?

It should tell you which colour wires to connect.

Are the electrics the plug in car specific type or universal bypass type? Googling 'citroen xsara picasso towbar wiring diagram' brings up all the help you will ever need if you are able to diy. Otherwise fit the towbar yourself & pay a towbar fitter to do the wiring.

They are a universal set I have spent hours looking on google and it seems, everyone has the same problem cant find a diagram any where

Just spotted its 2nd hand. My pet hate..

Seen so many dangerous ones sold on ebay its scary to think someone has bought that and may tow a caravan with the car loaded with the family.

Get a haynes manual and tell us what colour wiring you have to the rear lights.
