First caravan bought last week...baby forced my wife and I to banish the canvas after 15 years of tour-tenting!
We are keeping it on a piece of grass at the side of our house. The plot is triangular shaped. The ground slopes away maybe 6 to 9 inches over the width of the caravan in its current position. I am planning a side-fence modification (make it gated) such that we can get the van parallel to the house, where the slope is far less...more or less level.
So my question is this...although not ideal, am I doing the van any major harm having it off-level side-to-side for the week or so it will be like that?
Short term you have no problem, but if they are not levelled up you will find rain will run off roof all in one area all the time, which over a period of time increases the chance of any ingress all at that point.Levelling up will distribute water off more evenly.

Its not going to hurt for a week. When you have got your proper place ready & if its still not level, place one or more paving slabs on one side to run wheel onto. If you want to run fridge overnight before a trip it needs to be level or fridge may not work.
Our van is always stored on a slope as the drive is sloped. It does have a cover but vans shouldn't leak. If ours did then I would like to know so as to get it fixed under warranty.
