Hi, just bought an old caravan a line 440 4 berth n lovely condition. Been used to original rapidos and loved them all but now we are getting on found the erection of the exportomatic a bit a bit too much for us to handle opted for another 'oldun' however can't find anything at all online about these old vans. Any lovely people on here have any knowledge about our latest baby? Thanks in advance.

We had an A Line Rambler 380/2 as our first caravan and I still miss it. Ours had the tongue and groove effect ceiling and we thought that made it a bit posher than most caravans that had a hardboard effect ceiling.

A Line went out of business in the early 1980's probably 82 or 83 and became Dean Line who went out of business a few years later. I think the chap who designed them, Harry Dean?, originally worked for Sprite but I may have got that bit wrong.

I think I may still have the manual for the caravan, I'll have a look later.
