Can anybody tell me what material the Luna chateau 2005 model are made from as I have one that is delaminating and the price for a new one is horrific, thanks

They are made of acrylic perspex. Get some suitable glue for that & you can stick the 2 halves back together. I just used UHU clear glue on mine. Open window right up, hold halves apart with bit of wood, run a bead of glue along, press together & hold with bulldog clips until dry. Thats how I did mine.

UHU clear glue is not water proof,I suggest you use Evo Stick, sticks like sh at t all weather sealant which is made for sticking acrylic.

Well yes, I just used glue that I had & its still ok after about 3yrs but if you need to buy some glue this glue is specific for acrylic perspex.

I hope this not too an old thread to reply to as my Bailey Pageant Series 5 Champagne has front window problems.
Bought van last year and used in the autumn with no problems. Stored in the open over the winter and when taken out over easter this year found condensation ruined the view and also found water sloshing around in the right hand one about 2 inches deep. On investigating found that on that window the halves were only still glued together for about 50% of the edges. I carefully inserted a stick in the gap and with minimum effort opended it up down to the bottom whereupon the water poured out. A hair dryer later all was clear. Did the same with the others by opening part of the side to let air in and used the dryer to warm it up and again all was clear.
Over the summer the delamination has galloped away and i have a feeling the outter layer may fall off! Not sure if this would be possible as no idea of construction.

Found a firm called Exhaust Injector company near Sheffield (I think) who can reglue at about £300 each for the smaller ones but you have to take off and post to them..is that a good idea.

In your thread you talk about gluing youself...once i try that the Sheffield company wont try to repair as they dont work with windows interferred with ( cant say i blame them)

So..Has anyone reglued their windows and were the results professional? Which is the best glue to use? Dont want to try instant glues as not confident in my ability to work quickly.

The whole affair has knocked my faith in Bailey vans as my old one had no such problems. Its as if they used the wrong glue in the first place or just didnt do it properly.
Any info help most gratefully received.

It's not unusual for caravan windows to delaminate as described. Nothing really to do with Bailey, they don't make their own windows, same make of window will be fitted to other makes of caravan.

So your choice, glue the windows together yourself with the acrylic glue in the link, yes it does work, or pay somebody £300 to glue it with the same glue.
