I only ever use my van for localish weekends away but we are off on a 2 week jolly 300+ miles away!
Main question is because we are taking more clothes food etc do you travel these items already in the cupboards and wardrobe of the van or leave everything in the car and put it in the van on arrival. The outfit is a Jeep Grand Cheroke 4.7l V8 (runs on LPG) and a Bailey Ranger 2 berth. we are 2 adults & 2 dogs so car will have the dog cages etc in it already. I will place heavy items over the axle of the van but just not sure on other stuff.
Advice please.

We always put clothes in the wardrobe and lockers and stock up the fridge. Other food - we take some staples but generally like to shop locally for fresh stuff!

haha Jaiash I always take too many clothes after all its summer time so we need clothes for hot, very hot, cold, wet, freezing cold, you know how it goes lol. I taking my tins of food, and the fridge stuff, booze (lots of) and getting the rest local as you say, also going to get gas bottle replaced there so thats a little less weight unless someone advises me thats going to cost more to fill as I suspect they are pretty much the same price everywhere?

Just watch your overall weights if loading up van

We normally hang some larger clothes in wardrobe and put undies and foldable stuff in drawers/cupboard and then fill up fridge etc but if doing all that I will out awning in boot of car

If in doubt put it in the Jeep on back seats

Have fun - love longer trips away and planning these (not long by retired people's standards but long by us workers!!)

We put fridge stuff in fridge and clothes in wardrobe. Other food stuff like tins, cereal, dog food etc (all the rest really) goes in a folding crate on the van floor. I don't like travelling with anything like that in cupboards in case they fall out. Only takes a minute to put away on arrival. A bouncing tin of beans or jar or coffee can do a lot of damage!

We travel with kitchen stuff in those big supermarket bags, one for pots and pans etc, and one for non fridge food. It just takes minutes to transfer it all up to the cupboards when we arrive. Clothes in sqishy cases, and aquaroll stuff in the wardrobe at the back where it won't roll around and cause damage. Awning above the axle. Have done thousands of trouble free miles like that.
