Hi All,
Into our second year of caravanning now, and off to France for 3 weeks at the end of the month with our Bailey Pageant Bretagne S5 and Pyramid Corsican (Grey) Awning.
To maximise the space, and also to save making up the front bed every night, my wife and I are planning on sleeping in the Awning. This throws up some questions, for which I'd love your opinions!
1) Is it better to sleep in an inner tent in the awning or in a tall annex?
2) Does anyone want to sell a Tall Annex? They seem hard to come by, and I'm nervous of a universal style one?
3) Can the condensation be a problem, our awning ceiling in the UK last year was always very wet in the morning, even with vents open?
Finally, loads of images of French campsites show an Awning and a Sun Canopy extension? Haven't really seen these in the UK so are they a good idea, and can you use them on most pitches in Europe?
Thanks All!
James
