Hi
I am looking to buy a Trigano 420cp caravan but can't seem to find any information on about the ability to tow it with my Peugeot 207 SW 1.6 HDi (92bhp). Can anyone help or can you point me to a website that can help. I am a little confused with all the 85% thing and kerb weight etc. Would appreciate any advice.

What is the maximum weight of the Trigano?

Probably on the drivers B post of your car will b e a plate with some weights printed on. What are those?

My son in law has this motor but does not tow with it, but i would think you are possibly getting near the limit especially if you have the car well loaded as well.

The Trigano weights are as follows:-
Gross Weight 110 Kgs
Ex works weight 905 Kgs
Mass running order 950 Kgs

The Peugeot weights are as follows:-
Gross vehicle weight 1741 Kgs
Kerb weight 1332 Kgs
Max braked towing weight 1150Kgs
Hope this makes sense to you as it is all gobbledegook to me!

From those figures, yes legally you can tow it, but I would suggest that it will be a bit sluggish, especially up hill.
