I don't think you've paid over the odds if it makes you fell better, we paid just slightly less for a 1997 elddis from eBay. We searched high and low but in the end we decided that was the best van we had seen. In the end we had to pay right up to our budget as someone else was after the van and it went down to the wire but I suppose that's the joy of eBay!!!!

Were off to france for 2 weeks in August and that's costing us less than 1 week in a static in the uk and we've already had 1 week and a few weekends since we bought the van and the kids love it which for me is priceless

Like when I had my first flying lesson ,your now totally committed (in my case to a landing) enjoy yourselfs from now on ,learn everything you can about the van and it's workings ,I feel lots of questions will follow LOL
