What I do is put 10 teaspoons into a 45l aquaroll and leave it stand for an hour or two and then run it from the aquaroll into the caravan system through all the taps and then switch the taps off. I then leave it for an hour or two and then run the rest of the barrel through.
I the rinse out the aquaroll and fill it with fresh water and run the fresh water through the system.
As well is two words!
How does a sage know everything about everything? or does he? or does he just think he does?
Remember, if you buy something you bought it, not brought it.
I've always used Puriclean so can;t comment on comparison. As long as they are both designed to be in caravan pipes (Puriclean certainly is) then should be fine
Milton is used for the treatment of babies bottles and equipment because they are in constant use daily but water pipes in caravans and motorhomes will have stagnant water lying there for days, weeks or even months at a time therefore a bacteria called bio-film will cling to the plastic surface which then breeds bacteria. Puriclean powder destroys bio-film whereas Milton doesn't and as Milton contains a harmful chemical it can attack metal components in the caravan hot water tank so Puriclean is the right application required. Some people think that the Puriclean tablets will do the same job but they don't as they only treat the water after the water barrels and pipes have been sterilised properly.
You can see more information on the products and applications below which is useful guide on how to stay safe regarding water treatments.
