As anyone else had a problem with shower wall splitting in Bailey Unicorn. Our vans warranty ran out in March and unfortunately we have just noticed shower wall as cracked in several places. Contacted Bailey don't want to know.
Before retiring I had regular contact with the company that made the shower enclosures for Bailey.(and Swift if my memory is right) Whilst my job was not anything to do with caravans I had many discussions with their Quality Manager. It appears that the usual cause of cracking in the shower is the cleaning materials used as they cause stress cracking. Anything more than a soft soap and water is a no! no! Usual home bathromm cleaning materials (Mr Muscle etc) are the usual cause. This applies to shower cubicals, wall boards, plactic sinks, and outside parts like wheelarch trims, ABS front & rear panels. Even a neat cleaning fluid or polish can cause cracking. When new there are stickers on the bathroom sinks, showers and other internal parts advising only to use soap and water to clean them. One one of our caravans I used WD40 to remove the sticky patch left by the sticker and guess what, it ctacked. Lesson learned!

My shower wall split in my Sancerre it is a separate shower cubicle. To have it replaced would have cost me £400
Mine is a loose fit, fits at the bottom behind raised pieces they call it a castle tray, then 9 screws caped hold it at the top 3 on each side and 3 on the back. A piece about 2 to 3 inches wide is then put round the top and sealed to the roof etc.
You can get plastic sheet from here
Only ever used Thetford Bathroom Cleaner in shower and hardly ever used the shower. Bailey will not replace it so now trying Insurance Company . We have a quote of £350. I have been told it is quite a job in the Alu tech body.
