Hi, I bought a tyre inflater a couple of weeks ago. When I checked my tyres, they were all above the psi they should have been. I know the inflaters are probably not spot on, but is there any way of checking how much out it is?

compare what it reads with a known accurate gauge..

once you know how far out it is you do some basic maths.. i dont think they are as far out as they are made out to be..

or buy a good tyre pressure gauge but even a good gauge needs checking for accuracy every so often.. he he

if you have two cheap gauges and they both read the same they are both likely to be accurate.. to be wrong and the same requires luck to be really against you.. he he

I bought something similar to this to check my tyres with. My pump gauge is way out!
