hi! we've bought a caravan! very exciting! it's an adia and the seller didn't know anything about it and we cant find much info on it either. but what info we have found says that it should be a 5 berth. it has a double bed at each end, does anyone know where the 5th bed is meant to be? if I can find out where its supposed to go, I'm hoping the parts will still be there or I maybe able to make shift.thanks.

I should add that we are going back to collect it from the seller and then going straight out in it for the week, so I don't have it nearby yet.

Bunk over the double bed usually/ Folds down from the lockers above.
Or a separare metal frame that slots into fixings on the walls.

Not unusual for them to get removed though.

Is it a 440 or a 470? Those numbers usually relate to the length not the berth.

ah okay, thank's. I'm not sure which model it is, it is just over 15 foot in length (the main body) . I'd love to know which it is. it's an old one, I presume late 80's / early 90's and has a deep dark blue line all around the bottom on the outside. :)

I assume you mean an Adria 470 (Not adia)

I think they were made late eighties and were 15 1/2 feet in length. As Grampian91 said the 5th bed will normally be a bunk the folds down over one of the doubles.

Although I thought the 470 was a 4 berth van.

Why didn't the seller know anything about it !

hi, the seller didn't know anything about it because he was an owner of a caravan storage business and the caravan was given to him to pay for fees :) thanks for your replies i'll have a look and see which it is, the 440 or the 470

well, it's the same as in the pic so its a 470c, thanks muchly. ive since seen the caravan again and it has two holes above, either side of the rear bed which is confusing as suggests a fifth bed was there once upon a time but it seems the 470 was a 4 berth? lol :) x

It's possible the previous owner converted it into a 5 berth, with their own bunk conversion.
