After changing the speakers in caravan (sterling 585), as the sound was poor, with nice new ones bought from halfords.
I thought why not connect my Avtex TV through to get get a bit of surround sound a such.
So next challenge was how can i do this without joining cables etc.
So come up with the idea of using 3.5mm jack leads from headphone socket in TV to jack point in the stereo, Bingo it worked and the sound was quality as well :). So a 5mtr jack lead ordered of Amazon £1.46. Hid the cable across the ceiling in existing conduit and now I have quality sound not quite surround but better than the TV speakers :).
So if you like the TV this might give you an idea to try as well.

Great idea. Always seem to need the volume cranked up, but with stereo speakers right above both our heads this idea could be a winner.
------------- XVI yes?
As well is two words!

Remember, if you buy something you bought it, not brought it.

It is great just adds that extra sound quality, also another tip is turn up volume to max on stereo then use TV remote to adjust :)

No need to run a wire with my Avtex TV it has a FM transmitter built in, you just set what frequency and tune radio to that and sound from TV comes out radio speakers.
Just check your user manual for TV it may have the same.

We've got a cigar socket under TV so I've just ordered an FM transmitter gadget that plugs into it. We'll be able to hear it through the van stereo or our phones have got FM radios on them too.
