Hi all, anyone got or used the weber baby q1000?
Looking at getting one for use at home and occasionally taking away with us in the van.
Looks pretty compact ,if slightly heavy.
Yes, quality piece of kit, expensive but well built and only half a dozen parts to assemble. Very good for cooking on and heats up in 15 minutes.
We bought ours on the rebound from an Outwell Roast barbecue which was half the price and basically rubbish. It came in about 50 parts, none of which had been de-burred leaving sharp edges everywhere and to cap it all having spent an hour assembling the b****y thing I found that the hinges for the lid had been drilled on the wrong side and I had to take it apart again to get a refund.
I learned my lesson.

Have one, had it for years now. Love it. Very handy. I also have the carry bag. It has wheels at the bottom for easy transportation. As said above very simple to assemble. Good weber quality.
Must admit nearly bought one of these great bbq's, but needed something much smaller and lighter for the van.
Ended up with the Cadac Safari Chef from Go (£60 odd) after there price Guarantee. The price came down soon after, but not to what i paid thankfully. Looks a great bit of kit, and will be giving it an airing soon. Will definatly be getting a Webber for home next year though, looks to be a great buy.
I recently bought the weber go anywhere (charcoal) and used it whilst we were away last week. Superb quality products. Whatever BBQ you want I would recommend the Weber

I have the next model up, I think it's the 120 ?? I also have the breakfast plate that sits on top to allow me to cook bacon, eggs, mushrooms etc. Weber make some of the best bbq ' s in the world.
