Won't the power cable be for the microswitch that turns the water on and off.
I'm not very technical but Im sure someone who is will be around to help.

if the cable is connected to the tap then it will be for the microswitch. If you put a mixer without this ya won't get any water out as your system is not a pressurised one.
Microswitch turns on the pump and you get water, with the pressurised system when the tap is opened the pressure drops, this is picked up by a pressure switch which then turns on the pump until the pressure is regained in the system.

If you use an external pump, how is it going to be turned on? Manually? how will you limit the pressure in the pipework without a pressure switch? There are two water systems in caravans, one works with micro switches and the other with a pressure switch, if you can convert one to the other I'm not sure. What is wrong with the original mixer tap?

The microswitches on the mixer turn the pump on when you open the tap, and it doesn't matter whether it is an external or internal pump. If the present mixer has microswitches, I would only replace it with another one with microswitches. It's easier that way. I have just replaced mine.
Regarding the water heater, what type is it? Mine is under one of the seats, and has a tank incorporated with it. Make sure you fill the tank with water before trying to heat it, if it is the same type as mine.
I remember one caravan I had used a foot pump to push the water through the taps. Were these still around in 1989? If they were there wouldn't be microswitches would there?

It can be on another switch to turn on manually? Like light switch? The pressure is set from outside with pressure meter. The original mixer tap is too old so i decide to change it if it possible.

If water pump is in external switch and i forgot it open what will happens?
That water heater is exactly the same as mine. I use an external submersible pump which goes in my water carrier. This pump is controlled by the microswitches in the taps. My water heater works on gas, but some of this type can also be heated by mains electricity. Whichever yours runs on, make sure it is full of water before you switch the heating on, as otherwise it will overheat.
I also have an additional switch (like a light switch) to isolate the pump just in case any of the microswitches sticks on.
