We are looking to get a small porch awning to store wet gear, boots etc that's easy/quick to erect and not too expensive. I have read mixed reviews for the Sunncamp Swift so does anyone have any other recommendations?
We purchased the Sunncamp Swift and used it for the first time a couple of week ago. I must say I was very impressed with how quick it is to put up / take down and also how much room there was in it.
As a quick / easy / light weight and reasonably priced awning i would recommend it.
I'm not sure what bad reviews you have read, but for us mainly doing weekend trips it's ideal.

We have a sunncamp swift 220. Must admit, its an easy to put up awning and serves a purpose being quick, easy, light to carry and easy to dry out.
Not the best porch awning on the market but when all is said and done its a cheaper end one so as long as you aren't expecting The best quality awning I don't think you will be disappointed for the money.
hi i have sunncamp rotonde 300 easyest one i have had to put up and take down one pole at the front . two rear pad poles and that is it .i have just looked on ebay mine is the same design as swift 220 apart from mine has a bay window type front . i got mine last year came with ground sheet and rear poles for £99 .just looked on line £149 now
Easy to put up but would advise to get rear pad poles if you want a seal against van side to stop wind and rain getting in.We have just got rid of ours for an Outdoor Revolution.
We also have the Swift 220 porch awning and as has been said its ok for the money.
It is simple to erect and take down and with two side doors and one front door with zip each side can be used as a canopy with a set of king poles.
Where the sides meet the caravan can flap a bit in the wind but an easy fix by adjusting peg position in my experience.
I would recommend checking height of your caravan to check if its suitable as with any awning..

I wish id known this a month ago. I can now vouch that the Kampa's are indeed crap in colder weather.
